Inspired by the Balenciaga Exhibition that recently showed at the V&A Museum, this Stumpwork brooch kit enables you to create a flower brooch using Whitework techniques, Stumpwork methods and beading. Two layers of petals are worked in the diagonal cross filling pulled stitch and the second layer in Satin stitch blocks. You will then learn how to work a buttonhole wired shape, cut out each petal and learn the correct method for applying the petals. The design is then finished off with a beaded and French knot centre. Instructions then take you through how to make up the brooch. The kit comes in a beautiful presentation box making it the ideal gift for yourself or someone else. In addition, I also offer email support should you need it.
